Camping and 4th of July

We went camping the week of the 4th of July.  We went to Granite Flats and my parents took their trailer.  It went surprisingly well.  Trevor was a good age to take because he isn't too mobile.  Lexi and Carter loved playing in the dirt.  We had excellent food and spent a little time at Tibble Fork.  I love sleeping as a family in a tent.  Even though we were super squished and no one could straighten their legs we had fun.  The second night me and Trevor slept in the trailer.  The day we came home we had a family BBQ at my parents.  The kids had a blast playing with their cousins.  I talked everyone into playing 500.  Cole thought he would help Carter catch the football and picked him up to get it but instead the ball smacked him full force in the face.  Poor kid but it was pretty funny.  Trevor did well with the fireworks.  I tried to nurse him during them but that was a joke.  He was too mesmorized  by all the noise.  Later that night we put the kids to bed and then a while later went to go into the kitchen.  We almost tripped on Carter who was laying next to our door in the hall.  He was scared because of the noise from the fireworks going off in the neighborhood.  We showed him what the noise was from and then he went back to bed.  I am more than ready for firework noise to be over for the season between the 4th and 24th celebrations.
