I just wanted to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas. We will be spending it in Pennsylvania with Cole's family. We miss all of you and wish we could be with you too.
Love you,
Cole and Michelle

Vacation in Maui video
Cole threw together this video of our trip to Maui. Check it out! My favorite parts are the waterslide clips. I was quite proud that my Mom went down the slides. We had so much fun.
Lottery?
I now posess my first Lottery ticket. No, I haven't gone off the deep end. One of the Physicians Assistants I work with gave them as part of his Christmas cards. I thought it was kind of funny. I didn't tell anyone that I don't believe in gambling. I don't even know what to do with it. So, if you hear on the news that some Illinois resident has won big but hasn't claimed their prize money it is probably me.

What's for dinner?
Does anyone have any good, healthy, easy recipe's. I know those are pretty narrowing qualifications but I'm getting sick of our same old stuff and am in search of something yummy. I am also dying for some side dish recipe's if anyone has some. In the spirit of sharing I will put up my newest find Feta Cheeses Chicken. It quickly became one of Cole's favorites and mine because it takes all of 5 minutes to make.
6 boneless skinless chicken breasts (I only use 1 or 2 and it works out just as well)
2 Tbsp lemon juice, divided
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 cup feta cheese
1/4 cup finely chopped red peppers (they make it soooo good)
1/4 cup finely chopped parsley
Preheat oven to 350. Arrange chicken in 13 x 9 inch baking dish.
Drizzle with 1 Tbsp of the lemon juice. Season with black pepper and salt. Top with feta cheese; drizzle with remaining 1 Tbsp lemon juice.
Bake 35-40 min. Remove from oven. Sprinkle with red pepper and parsley.

First Snow
We had a snow storm the other day and it actually stuck to the ground this time. I was so excited that I made Cole change out of his pajamas (it was about 9:30 pm) and run outside with me to walk around in it. I scraped, or rather brushed, the snow off my car just for fun. It was really cold though so we came inside rather quickly. We've also had freezing rain recently and it is crazy. I've never seen such a thing before but it can be pretty scary. It is neat to look at all the trees and bushes after though because they have beautiful iceicles all over them.

President
Cole and I just watched Mitt Romney's speech on religion and thought it was awesome. It made us think of the things we read about in the Book of Mormon about good leaders and prosperous nations. I'm posting a link to the video of his speech. It is about 18 minutes and well worth the time to watch. http://video.msn.com/video.aspx?mkt=en-US&brand=msnbc&vid=426c0d7c-7e3f-4993-8853-c20eff674bc7
