19 months

Lexi is now 19 months old. It seems she is too old now to keep track of it by months. She is such a delight. She still loves to talk on the phone and I've included a picture of her using her hand as her phone. Her conversations usually consist of the words Hello, Hi, Oh, some gibber, and then Bye. She loves her daddy and gets so excited when I tell her he's coming home. She runs to the door the minute she hears the garage opening. The first thing she usually says to him is ball because she knows he plays ball with her. The words Dada and ball always go together. She takes after Cole a lot. She is quite inquisitive about how things work. She takes apart anything she can. She loves to take batteries out and the other day she disassembled a flashlight. She also has his food preferences and loves meat although she does have a little of my sweet tooth.

She loves to be outside doing anything. One of her favorite outdoor activities are bubbles. She likes to go to the park but doesn't really like swings or going down slides. She prefers climbing things while we are there and going up and down the stairs. She loves to read stories. She loves babies. She's also become quite creative with coming up with things to use as stools. She will use toilet paper, tuberware, anything she can get her hands on to help her get a little higher. She also likes to use them as chairs. She has started to like to watch "shows" and her favorites include Curious George, Barney, and Caillou. She's a lot of company and entertains us. I am so grateful for my cute little Lexi Jane.
