Ellison Christmas eve party
We had a nice time at the Ellison Christmas Eve Party. We ate and did white elephants. Lexi sang a solo for everyone ""When Christmas Comes to Town." I was so impressed with how brave she was. The kids hit the pinata and Carter actually hit it hard enough that he broke the string. It was a fun party.

CHRISTMAS SLEEPOUT
We held our Christmas sleeepout for Jesus' Birthday party this year. It was so fun. We gave the kids gifts as part of the birthday celebration and talked about the gift of the Savior. The kids were thrilled to get Beeny Boos. We sang happy birthday and blew out the candles and enjoyed our cake. Cole pulled out our mattress and we all watched Home Alone and slept in the living room (except Trevor who slept in his bed for half the night and then on me the other half). It's a fun tradition.

Parker Christmas party
We had the Parker Christmas party at a church this year because the breakfast with Santa wasn't happening this year. It was still a lot of fun. I was in charge of the games and we did Minute to Win it games. I think everyone had a good laugh. Nathan participated in the whip cream Christmas tree event and went to town decorating the top of his own head. He also had some great moves trying to shake his bells from his behind. We did the nativity and I loved watching Carter be Joseph, Lexi an angel, and Trevor Jesus. Then Lexi asked if she could sing a song and that started an impromptu talent show. Lexi sang When Christmas comes to Town and Carter Sang Must be Santa. Then all my kids sang Away In A Manger. It was so sweet. A lot of others showed off their talents as well. It was a great night.
Christmas Sunday Photos
I had to take some pictures of the kids in their Christmas Sunday clothes. Trevor wasn't very cooperative but we still got some cute ones anyway. It was the kids idea to hold the believe sign and I thought it was cute.

Best date ever!
I put in for tickets to the Tabernacle Choir Christmas concert at the last minute and was shocked when we got them. We had Megan watch the kids and went to dinner at the Garden Room at the Joseph Smith MEmorial building before the concert. I'd requested a table with a view and we got the best one at the restaurant. Halfway through our meal the manager asked if we would change tables if they covered our bill. Of courese we jumped on that and the table we moved to had a great view too. It was so nice to get our dinner for free (and dessert). We then went to the concert and enjoyed it as well. It was a fun date night!
