Lexi and Carter went to the doctor for their well child visits this month. Lexi is 3 ft 29 lbs. Carter is now what the doctor called, "an Ellison." He is down to 9% height and 17% weight. He used to be 50% for height so I was a little worried but the doctor said it was fine. Lexi loved going to the doctor and told me she didn't want to go home...that was until the nurse gave her a flu shot in her arm. After that she was very upset and told me, "Mom I can't color today because I have a bandy (band aid) on my arm." She wouldn't move her arm for a few hours because of her bandy. Luckily it fell off and she got over it. She finally knows most of her colors. She still has accidents with potty training but the doctor said her progress is great for a 3 year old.
Carter is sitting up really well now although he still tips over. He gets up on all four and rocks a lot. He loves to be with you and we have to hide from him if we don't want him to cry when we leave him alone. He's decided he likes green beans and peas. He makes a lot of cute sounds that are either really low and deep or high and squeaky. He's started crying when things get taken away from him.
