January
To keep busy this month I signed Carter up for Itty Bitty sports. He did really well with it and seemed to enjoy it. I also got Lasik. It went really well and I'm so grateful Cole insisted on letting me do it. We got a new (to us) car. It was sad to sell the Highlander because we've loved it so much. We got an Acura MDX which has always been my dream. Carter got invited to his first friend birthday party and loved it. He's growing up so much!
Sweet Carter
Carter got in the car when I picked him up from preschool with a smile on his face. He excitedly told me that the next day he was going to get to have a job and earn pretend money to buy prizes at preschool. Lexi entered the car shortly thereafter and Carter told her about his special upcoming preschool activity. Lexi said it sounded fun and that she wished she got to do it. Carter quickly replied that he would use his money to buy her a prize. He kept talking about doing it for her and how excited he was to buy her a prize. Sure enough the next day he used his money to buy himself one prize and lexi a prize. He even tried to pick one that was a color she would like. It was so sweet.

Trevor turns 2!
Trevor is such a ray of sunshine in our family. He got a front facing car seat for his birthday. The first few times he rode in it he kept screaming weeeeeh! It was so cute. He liked his birthday and loved having attention from everyone. He of course invited everyone to come see his bed and at the end of the night pretty much everyone was in it with him. We love our Trevor!
Christmas break
We had a lot of fun over Christmas break. We went bowling several times and I got my all time high score. Carter surprised me by drawing a nativity drawing. It was so cute.

Ellison Christmas eve party
We had a nice time at the Ellison Christmas Eve Party. We ate and did white elephants. Lexi sang a solo for everyone ""When Christmas Comes to Town." I was so impressed with how brave she was. The kids hit the pinata and Carter actually hit it hard enough that he broke the string. It was a fun party.
